Five years ago, AB Group was an idea backed by ambition, long nights, and an unreasonable belief in what we could build.
There was no large team - No established name - No playbook.
Just a commitment to move faster, think bigger, and serve clients better than they expected.

Today, ABG is a 14-person architecture firm with team members in North Carolina, Texas and Lebanon (6000 miles away!)
In five years, we have:
• Expanded our architecture and interior design presense siginificantly!
• Helped bring homes, restaurants, offices, multifamily communities, retail spaces, industrial facilities, and hospitality projects to life
• Built a company that can serve both local entrepreneurs and sophisticated developers across multiple markets
• Created new brands, technology platforms, and business ventures beyond the traditional architecture practice
• Built a team that shares one belief: speed, accountability, and great design can coexist

But the real story is not the growth:
It is what the growth required.
It required taking calls when the answer was not obvious.
Winning projects before we felt fully ready.
Learning from mistakes quickly.
Trusting talented people with meaningful responsibility.
Making difficult decisions.
Showing up again after setbacks.
And refusing to let the size of our company determine the size of our ambition.

Every project, client, employee, consultant, contractor, referral partner, mentor, and supporter became part of this story.
We are proud of what ABG has become.
But we are even more excited about what it is becoming.

The next five years will be bigger.
More markets.
More disciplines.
More technology.
More opportunities for our team.
More impact for the clients and communities we serve.
AB Group is five years old.
And we are just getting started.

Uptown Charlotte’s dining scene just got a massive upgrade. 🥢✨ We are incredibly proud to unveil our latest commercial design project: LILA Restaurant & Lounge.
Taking over the former Haymaker space in the Third Ward, our team at Architect Builder Group transformed this nearly 5,000-square-foot, two-story venue into an immersive culinary destination. The design concept mirrors LILA’s menu—a striking balance where modern Japanese precision meets the vibrant energy of Latin American culture.
From the initial space planning to the photorealistic visualizations and final ex*****on, we designed every inch to seamlessly transition from an upscale dining experience by day into a high-energy cocktail lounge on the weekends. The mezzanine, the dining room, and the patio all work together to transport guests the moment they walk through the doors.
Swipe to see how we brought this vision to life! What is your favorite design detail in the new space? Let us know in the comments below. 👇

We’re not just designing a house. We’re designing a logistical flex.

No roads. No Home Depot runs. No “we’ll grab it tomorrow.”

Every beam, every window, every slab of stone, every screw has to arrive by barge to Daufuskie Island. That’s not a constraint. That’s the challenge that makes architecture worth doing.

Great design isn’t about drawing beautiful homes. It’s about solving impossible problems before the first shovel hits the ground.

This one will demand precision, patience, and a little bit of audacity.

We’re here for all of it.

Architecture is easy when a truck can pull up to the site.
Let’s see what happens when the ocean becomes your supply chain.

Stay tuned. This is going to be one hell of a build.

Mountain living isn’t about square footage. It’s about creating unforgettable moments.

As the sun disappears behind the peaks, architecture becomes an experience.

Natural stone.
Olive trees.
Layered landscape lighting.
Resort-style outdoor living.
Fire features that invite conversation.
Views that never get old.

Every detail is designed to blur the line between the home and the mountains—creating a retreat that feels timeless, luxurious, and deeply connected to its surroundings.

The best luxury homes aren’t the ones with the biggest budgets.
They’re the ones where architecture and nature become one.

Would you build your dream home in the mountains?

Tell us where in the comments.

If you’re planning a luxury custom home, mountain retreat, or estate anywhere in the U.S., AB Group specializes in creating one-of-a-kind residences that maximize your land, views, and lifestyle.

Luxury retail is changing.

The biggest stores are no longer the biggest winners.

The destinations people remember are.

The future of luxury retail isn’t about adding more square footage.

It’s about creating places people never want to leave.

The best developments are combining:

• Luxury shopping
• Award-winning restaurants
• Boutique hotels
• Rooftop experiences
• Wellness and fitness
• Entertainment
• Luxury residences
• Beautiful public spaces

The result?

People stay longer.
They spend more.
They come back.
They bring their friends.

Architecture has become part of the brand.

The building itself is now the marketing.

The most successful mixed-use projects aren’t competing on rent.

They’re competing on experience.

The question every developer should be asking isn’t:

“How much retail can I build?”

It’s:

“Would someone drive 30 minutes just to spend an afternoon here?”

Because the future belongs to places that people want to experience—not just shop.

Do you think traditional shopping malls will survive the next 10 years, or will experiential mixed-use developments take over?

Townhome projects are a unique beast. They look like residential homes, but because they share walls and properties, they trigger a massive web of commercial codes too.
