This summer, we were proud to welcome 26 talented interns from colleges and universities across the Carolinas to Rodgers (our biggest intern class to date!). Whether on active jobsites or embedded within our office teams, each intern gained valuable, hands-on industry experience that brought their classroom learning to life.

From site tours, baseball games, and Roc Solid Foundation builds, our interns made the most of their time with us, building both their professional skills and strong connections within the community.

The summer wrapped up with impressive final presentations delivered to Rodgers team members; a fitting end to a summer full of growth, learning, and teamwork.

We're so grateful for the energy and perspective these future leaders brought to Rodgers, and we can't wait to see where their journeys take them next!

On July 31, we were joined by team members from UNC Health, HCM and DSA Engineering, PC came together in Four Oaks for a Roc Solid Foundation playground build, creating a special space for a young boy battling leukemia to enjoy with his family.

The build was a true demonstration of teamwork, collaboration and community impact. Together, our teams helped create a place where a family can spend time together, make memories and focus on what matters most.

A new chapter begins for Coltrane-Webb STEM Elementary School! 🎉

Rodgers was proud to join Cabarrus County Schools and the Concord community on August 11 to celebrate the ribbon cutting of the new 115,000-square-foot Coltrane-Webb STEM Elementary School.

Designed to support 756 students and the school's nationally recognized STEM program, this modern learning environment will help inspire curiosity, creativity, and innovation for years to come.

Rodgers is making significant progress on the Presbyterian Medical Center Inpatient Observation Unit Renovation, as Phase 2 of this 42,000-square-foot transformation continues!

Once complete, the renovated unit will feature 48 patient observation rooms, six nurse stations, and upgraded support spaces designed to enhance patient experience and improve efficiency for healthcare teams.

Recent project highlights include:
🏥 With Phase 1 complete, the new patient rooms and nurse station are now serving patients and healthcare teams.
❄️ Completed HVAC infrastructure improvements, laying the groundwork for the next phase of work.
🚪 Interior finishes are well underway throughout Phase 2, bringing the last renovation area to life.

This renovation reflects a shared commitment to creating a modern environment that supports exceptional patient care. We're proud to partner with Novant Health on this important transformation and look forward to the milestones ahead!
