What a night.

We hosted clients and partners at COSM Atlanta during GSX, the security industry's biggest conference of the year. Great people, great food, and a venue that had everyone reaching for their phones.

Every anniversary is a reminder of the people who've stayed rooted in our mission. Day after day, they help keep people and places safe, creating secure environments where businesses and communities can thrive.

This month, we celebrate the Marksman employees reaching significant years of service. Thank you for growing with us and helping others do the same.

We're closing Security Officer Appreciation Week with two officers who proved why protocol exists.

Jordan Jackson and Leona Albrecht were on duty when an unauthorized individual attempted to gain access to a control server by posing as a vendor. They challenged the credentials, denied access, and stopped what could have been a significant security breach.

No shortcuts. No assumptions. Just two officers doing the job exactly the way it should be done.💯

When clients request an officer by name, that tells you everything.

TaShari Talley is a longtime member of the Marksman team who has never stopped growing. She takes the time to learn every property she's assigned to, seeks out new skills on her own, and carries herself with a professionalism that has made her one of the most requested officers in the field.

That reputation was earned, not given. Well done, Officer Talley!

Elyon K***a joined Marksman a little over a year ago, speaking only English. He quickly realized that learning Spanish would make him more effective on site, so he started teaching himself. He practiced with Spanish-speaking colleagues, picked up phrases and vocabulary on the job, and kept at it shift after shift.

Today, Officer K***a is a reliable translator for his team, to the point that his site no longer needs to hire for the role.

Nobody asked him to do this. He saw the need and met it.

Ask anyone on the patrol team, and they'll tell you: the energy changed when Tina Stover showed up.

Beyond excelling in her daily responsibilities and keeping the patrol vehicles in shape, Officer Stover has played a key role in shaping the culture of the team by building morale and lifting everyone around her.

This kind of impact doesn't show up on a report, but the team feels it every shift.

Need a shift covered? Caleb Allen is already on his way.

As a Shift Supervisor, Caleb brings professionalism, a strong work ethic, and the kind of leadership that makes his team better. He goes above and beyond, and steps in for his fellow officers without complaint. That kind of reliability is hard to find and impossible to fake.

Thank you, Supervisor Allen.

Happy Security Officer Appreciation Week! To celebrate, we'll be spotlighting the people who make Marksman what it is.

It's only fitting that our first spotlight goes to the officer who's always first to step up. Edwin Arguera is the teammate everyone wants on their shift. He's the first to lend a hand, the first to step in when something needs to be handled, and the first to show up when the team needs backup. He does all of it without hesitation and with a positive attitude that never wavers.

Being reliably there for your team is one of the most valuable things an officer can be. We are glad to recognize Officer Arguera and the impact he's made so far.

Games, stories, and a whole lot of Rummikub.

A group of Marksman volunteers spent the morning at Senior Day Out through our Live2Give program, one of the ways our team gives back to the communities we're part of. The group settled in around the tables for games and an Italian lunch our volunteers plated and served. If you showed up not knowing how to play the games, somebody at the table was happy to teach you!

Thank you to everyone who volunteered and made the morning what it was.

Last day at GSX 2026, and we're not quite ready for it to be over.

Three days of catching up with clients we've worked with for years, meeting people we'd only ever emailed, and getting a real read on where this industry is heading.

Atlanta showed up. So did all of you.

If we didn't get to connect this week, reach out — the conversation doesn't have to end at the convention center.
