Things are taking shape from the ground up at Concourse Phase 2!

This 150-unit multifamily community in Charlotte, NC is making great progress, with framing underway across the site. Developed by Meridia, Inc. and designed by PDI Architecture, LLC the project will span more than 251,000 square feet across 14 residential buildings when complete.

Last week, our CFO, Nick Tarasovitch, represented C. Herman Construction at the North Carolina Employee Ownership Center Annual Conference in Raleigh, sharing our journey to becoming employee-owned during a panel discussion.

As a young, growing company, our ESOP wasn’t an exit strategy for Chris Herman, it was an investment in our people and the future of CHC. We’re proud of Nick for representing our team and sharing what employee ownership means to us as we continue building the next chapter of our company together.

Our Raleigh team is hard at work on Chapanoke Village, a new 200-unit affordable housing community taking shape along Chapanoke Road near Wake Tech’s Public Safety Campus.

This community will include three four-story residential buildings, along with resident-focused amenities including a community center, fitness and gathering spaces, playground and outdoor recreation areas.�

We’re proud to work alongside Harmony Housing Affordable Development, Greystone and Tise-Kiester Architects to bring 200 much-needed apartment homes to the growing Raleigh community!

We’re excited to kick off our first project in Winston-Salem! 🏗️

C. Herman Construction has officially begun sitework on The Byrum, a new 286-unit multifamily community in the Innovation Quarter.

The four-story development will wrap around a structured parking deck, adding additional housing to this dynamic and growing community.

We’re proud to expand our footprint into a new market and partner with Porter Jones of DPJ Residential and Axiom Architecture to bring The Byrum to life.

Earlier this month, Rusty Davis, our Director of Preconstruction, celebrated 5 years with C. Herman Construction!

Since joining CHC, Rusty has played an instrumental role in our growth by building a strong preconstruction team, strengthening client relationships, and helping lead our precon efforts across each of our markets. His leadership and commitment to finding solutions have made a lasting impact on our team and the projects we pursue.

Rusty also recently became a new dad, welcoming a baby boy and adding an exciting new role to his resume! Congratulations on 5 years Rusty and on an especially memorable year! 👏
