🎓 From the Classroom to the Job Site

This summer, Dan Cristiani Excavating welcomed Nate Smith as part of the company's Construction Management Internship Program.

A Civil Engineering student at the University of Louisville's J.B. Speed School of Engineering, Nate spent the summer learning alongside field crews, surveyors, estimators, project managers, and superintendents, gaining hands-on experience through every stage of a construction project.

From visiting job sites and completing quantity takeoffs to reading plans, Nate gained a deeper understanding of the construction side of civil engineering and how every team plays a role in bringing projects to life.

Nate recently wrapped up his internship by presenting what he learned throughout the summer to the DCE team.

"I learned a lot about the construction side of civil engineering and how all the different teams work together."

CELEBRATING DECADES OF SERVICE | Dan Cristiani Excavating and Gotta Go Inc. recently honored two longtime team members as they began their well-earned retirements.

Dennis Hartmen retired from Gotta Go after 33 years of dedicated service, while Michael Reichle retired after an incredible 39 years with the company.

Together, Dennis and Michael gave more than seven decades of hard work, loyalty, and commitment to Gotta Go. Their contributions helped shape the company, strengthen the team, and set an example for those who will follow in their footsteps.

Please join us in thanking Dennis and Michael for their many years of service and wishing them both a happy, healthy, and fulfilling retirement!
