When you've got a view like THIS… adding a window just makes sense! 😍🪟

We're making some big changes to this home, including the installation of a massive picture window that brings the outdoors in and gives these homeowners a front-row seat to their stunning backyard, pool, and marsh views.

20 years in business has taught us a lot...but one thing stands above the rest: the people make the company. 💙

Great systems, great products and a strong brand only go so far. It’s the people who show up, work hard, care about the details and take pride in what they do that make it all work.

We’re incredibly proud of the team we’ve built at New Beginnings Construction and just as proud to be building a place where great people can grow, succeed and build great careers.

Here’s to the people behind the projects and the next 20 years. 🏠🔨

☀️ It's a GOOD day for a NEW ROOF! 🏠🔨

There's nothing quite like seeing an old roof come off and a brand-new one go on!

Our crew is hard at work doing what they do best and that is protecting homes, paying attention to the details, and making sure every roof we install is built to last.

Because a new roof isn't just about curb appeal. It's about protecting everything underneath it. 💪

Why settle for a porch you can only enjoy part of the year when you could turn it into a whole new living space?

That's exactly what's happening at this West Ashley home! 🎨 It's PAINT DAY, and we're getting closer to the finish line on a complete porch conversion that's transforming an existing outdoor space into a comfortable, climate-controlled extension of the home.

We're talking new windows, doors, insulation, drywall, flooring, electrical, and a mini-split system for year-round comfort. Plus, a new deck so these homeowners can still enjoy the outdoors!

When your insurance company gives you a deadline to replace your roof… you need a contractor who can make it happen. 🏡🔨

These Summerville homeowners were facing a tight deadline to replace their aging roof or risk losing their insurance coverage.

They called New Beginnings Construction, and our team got to work!

What started with a roof replacement turned into a much bigger home transformation:
✔️ New roofing on the home AND detached garage
✔️ New gutters, downspouts & drip edge
✔️ Enclosed patio roofline improvements
✔️ New windows & French doors
✔️ New interior trim, flooring & lighting
✔️ New ceiling fan & electrical repairs

From the driveway to the finishing details, Stefan takes us through the completed project on our final day!
One contractor. Multiple improvements. One less thing for homeowners to worry about.

Meet Stefan! 👋🔨
Stefan is selective about who he works with, and before joining New Beginnings Construction, he did his homework. What stood out to him? Our team-oriented culture, commitment to our people, and the values we stand behind.
Since joining NBC, he’s seen firsthand what it means to have a team that truly has your back. When challenges arise, nobody is left to figure things out alone. We step up, support one another, and work together to make things right.
For Stefan, it’s also about opportunity. The effort you put in is recognized, growth is encouraged, and there’s always someone willing to lend a hand.
He also appreciates being part of a faith-based company that doesn’t just talk about serving others—we put those values into action through community involvement, volunteer opportunities, and events that bring our team together.
At New Beginnings, we’re not just building projects. We’re building people, relationships, and a team that stands behind one another. 💙

A look inside this whole-home remodel on James Island 👀🏠

This bathroom is just one piece of a much larger transformation our team is completing throughout the home. Here, we’re bringing together marble-look tile, a custom walk-in shower, built-in niche and bench, hexagon mosaic flooring, and warm bronze finishes.
From bathrooms and kitchens to flooring, structural updates, exterior improvements, and complete renovations, New Beginnings Construction can bring the entire project together under one roof.

Who fits at New Beginnings?

We’re looking for people who take ownership, work hard, care about their teammates, want to keep improving, and aren’t afraid of accountability. People who don’t just want to show up for a job—they want to contribute, grow, solve problems, and make an impact on the company they’re helping build.

That’s the culture we’re working toward at New Beginnings Construction. 💙

Think you’d fit at NBC? We’d love to hear from you.

You never really know what’s behind your siding until the demo starts. 👀🏠

When we’re contracted to replace older wood siding with new vinyl or James Hardie® siding, it’s not uncommon to uncover outdated building practices from decades ago. On this home, the original siding installed in the ’80s/’90s had only ½" Styrofoam sheathing behind it with no proper building paper and plastic being used as flashing.

But that’s not how we put it back together....

As part of this siding replacement, our team is installing:
🔨 ½" OSB plywood sheathing
💧 Proper, code-compliant weather-resistant building wrap
🏠 Correct flashing around vulnerable areas
🛠️ A new chimney cap while we’re already addressing the chimney

The goal isn’t just to make the exterior look new. It’s to make sure everything BEHIND the siding is properly protected, sealed, and ready to stand up to Charleston’s weather for years to come.

Sometimes the most important part of a siding project is what you’ll never see once we’re finished.
