11 years ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.
I’ll never forget the overwhelming support from friends, family, and even complete strangers who stepped up when my family needed it most.
A cancer diagnosis is hard enough. The last thing anyone should worry about is how to pay the bills, get to appointments, or keep groceries on the table.
That’s why I’m incredibly proud that Pro Lateral has chosen SOS Lowcountry (Share Our Suzy) as the beneficiary of a percentage of sales from our new pink logo truck.
Starting this week and running through the end of the year:
Every time you see our breast cancer awareness truck on a jobsite, you’ll know your project is directly helping local breast cancer patients and their families in the tri-county area with expenses insurance doesn’t cover.
SOS Lowcountry provides critical, practical support such as:
• Transportation to medical appointments
• Groceries and everyday essentials
• Childcare during treatment
• Utility bill assistance
• Wigs and prosthetic bras
• Necessary medical equipment
• Hotel lodging for patients and families traveling for care
This initiative is personal to me — and to our entire team. We believe when we succeed in business, we have a responsibility to give back to the community that supports us.
