Protect your disposal this fall! 🎃🚫
Don't put pumpkin guts, seeds, or fibrous veggies down the drain. Compost them or toss them in the garbage instead!
No body wants to live with lingering jack 'o lantern in the drain. That can stink up the house and potentially break your disposal.
Make the wise choice though if you do have any issues. Give Blitch Plumbing A Call!

Fall will soon be here! Help get ready in these easy steps 🍂💧

Time to prep your home: check water heater temp, inspect pipes for leaks, and clear outdoor drains.

Make sure your water heater is still holding a good temperature, if you notice any issues, we can help.
Check the floor around the water heater and see if there are any puddles or dripping pipes, these are signs of early issues.
Double check that your water heater tank's Temperature and Pressure Relief Valve won't have any problems if it needs to be used.

Stop slow drains before they start! 🛑🚿

Hair, soap scum, and grease are the enemies of flow.

Simple prevention tips:

1. Use drain covers to catch hair

2. Flush drains weekly with hot water

3. Avoid chemical cleaners (they hurt pipes!)

Keep things flowing freely.

Stuck with a clog? We'll clear it safely.

⭐💧 When you lose water to your entire home, you need a plumber you can count on.

A local homeowner recently experienced an outdoor water line break that left their home completely without water. Our team arrived, quickly diagnosed the problem, located the proper shutoffs, and found a failed PVC connection. After making the necessary repair and securing everything properly, the water was back on! 🔧🏡

But fixing the pipe was only part of the job.

Our team took the extra time to walk the homeowner through their plumbing system, showing them the house line, city line, and shutoff locations, explaining how everything worked, and offering advice for protecting those access points in the future.

That's what the Blitch Difference is all about. We don't want to simply make a repair and leave. We want our customers to feel informed, respected, and confident about what's happening with their home.

Knowledgeable. Professional. Helpful. Dependable. That's the kind of experience we work to provide on every call—and why Lowcountry homeowners have trusted Blitch Plumbing since 1942. 💙
