We’ve had so much fun meeting everyone at career fairs over the past few weeks! Thank you to the University of South Carolina, Georgia Southern University, Clemson University, NC State University, and The Citadel for welcoming us to campus. We loved connecting with so many talented students and can’t wait to see what the future holds!

Today, we say farewell to another Gulf Stream DIRT legend, Shawn Sullivan!

After nearly 33 years with Gulf Stream Construction, Shawn is officially heading into retirement! Throughout her incredible career, she served as our Controller on the Accounting team while also wearing countless hats and always being willing to lend a hand wherever she was needed.

We will miss so much about Shawn: her wealth of knowledge, kindness, willingness to help, and, most of all, her “can-do” attitude that made her someone we could always count on.

Shawn, thank you for the many years of dedication, hard work, and being such an important part of the Gulf Stream family. Your impact will be felt long after you leave, and you will certainly be missed!

Happy retirement, Mrs. Shawn! Here’s to the next chapter, you’ve earned it!

Working hard at the U.S. Coast Guard Pier November Recapitalization project in partnership with Whiting-Turner!

When an abandoned fuel line with asbestos-containing material was encountered, our Environmental Division stepped in to safely manage its removal and keep the project moving forward. Unexpected environmental conditions can arise in the field and our team is always ready to respond. From environmental hazards to asbestos abatement, we are here to provide the expertise, safety, and support needed to keep construction moving forward!

Another great end to the summer aboard the Palmetto Breeze! We had the best time cruising around Charleston Harbor, soaking up the sunshine and making the most of the last days of summer.
