This project pushed me way outside my comfort zone... and I honestly wasn't sure it was going to work. 😅

After all the planning, measuring, building, and problem-solving, I finished it off with Cabot Stain Australian Timber Oil in Mahogany Flame to bring out the natural beauty of the wood while helping protect it from the elements.

Safe to say... I'm so happy with how it turned out.

What do you think, would you try this?

I’ve ignored this side of my property for years and basically let the wildlife have it, so I figured it was finally time to do something with it!!

Teaming up with Craftsman to clear things out and start turning this forgotten side of the creek into something we can actually use.

This is only episode 1… any guesses what I’m building?

Wasn’t planning on buying a refrigerator today… but then I saw the Samsung Bespoke in person 😲

Clean design, insane storage, and honestly looks more like custom cabinetry than an appliance. Was it worth the U-Haul rental? You tell me.

I spent a lot of last year getting the backyard ready for this moment. I built the deck, added the pergola, and basically created a blank canvas. Now it was time to bring the outdoor entertaining part to life. Outdoor tables are crazy expensive, so instead of dropping $2k on one (and even more on chairs), I figured I'd just build one myself. Once the table was finished, I stained it with Cabot Stain 2026 Color of the Year, Acorn. The color really brought the wood to life and now it’s protected from the weather with durability for years.

Pretty excited to finally start using this space the way we imagined.
