Chardon, meet the DBC team! 👋

We’re back from Contractor Nation’s CN Live with fresh ideas for helping homeowners make more of their homes, and an honor we’re excited to share. DBC was named one of the top Total Basement Finishing dealers for 2025–26. 🏆

We spent three days learning alongside other home improvement teams, then made time for a little fun. The party theme was “Around the World,” so naturally we arrived with two bulls, two matadors, and a team of runners. 🐂

Northeast Ohio neighbors: If you could put your basement to better use, what would you create: movie space, home gym, playroom, guest room, or something else? Tell us below! 👇

When a homeowner takes the time to recognize our crew, we want to make sure the crew sees it. 💚

Meet the team behind Rosalind’s egress window installation. They also work on basement waterproofing and crawl space encapsulation, and customers love the knowledge, respect, and teamwork they bring to the job.

Rosalind, your words (and 5 stars) meant a lot to this crew. We’re proud to share them.

What. A. Day. 🎉

We officially opened the doors to our Chardon office — and this community showed up in the biggest way.

Mayor Chris Grau welcomed DBC to the neighborhood, we got a cookie key to the city (yes, a COOKIE key…and of course, it was maple flavored 🍁), and Chardon Area Chamber of Commerce President Julia Dolsen helped us celebrate with a ribbon cutting we won’t forget anytime soon 💚

Friends, neighbors, chamber members and future clients filled the shop, checked out the space and dropped off tools for our Stock the Shop drive benefiting Auburn Career Center’s construction trades program. Watching this community rally around the next generation of skilled tradespeople? That’s what it’s all about!

Huge thank you to Sylvia and Beans Coffee Shop for keeping everyone fed — if you haven’t been there yet, you’re missing out!

Chardon, Ohio — we are so glad to be here. Thank you for the warmest welcome we could have imagined. 💚

Listen, we knew DBC was making a big entrance into Northeast Ohio… but we didn’t expect the whole region to feel it💥

If you heard that boom yesterday morning — we’re not saying it was us pulling up to the I-X Center for the Cleveland Home + Remodeling Expo, but the timing was awfully suspicious 🤔😅 They’re calling it a “meteor.” We’re thinking it was just our “grand entrance”🙃

Now half of Ohio is out looking for meteorites in their yard. Us? We’re thinking it’s a great time to help build you the perfect deck or sunroom to watch the NEXT one from 😎

Come see us at the Cleveland Home + Remodeling Expo this Friday through Sunday at the I-X Center! We can talk space — Outer… or around your home😏

Also, a huge thank you to the team members (pictured below) who helped get us set up for success —literally 🙏🙌

🍀 Funny how our brand color works out on St. Patrick's Day 🍀

We didn't plan it that way — but after 15+ years of showing up in green, we'll take it. 💚

From our crew to your home: Happy St. Patrick's Day! May your basements stay dry, your kitchens stay beautiful, and your luck hold all spring long!

(And if that luck runs out — you know who to call 😁 📞 814-572-2760)
