Summer is the best time of the year to update/freshen up the exterior of your home! At this century home we took down the shutters, gave them a good wash and sprayed 2 coats of SW Latitude.

With a color, such as black on vinyl shutters, we took extra precaution and went with a vinyl safe color. This prevents any warping or buckling due to dark colors absorbing heat instead of the heat bouncing off. The winner here was SW Black Magic and it looks great!

Hey everyone, it has been a little over a month since our last post😱

Here are some pictures of the last couple projects to catch you guys up!

First set is a full rehab, consisting of priming the whole house, then prepping all the trim and doors, ceilings and walls for the finish coats.

Second set is of a clubhouse with wallpaper removal, a little bit of skim coating and patching, then refreshing the walls and ceilings,making it look nice and clean!

Third set is a newly bought home that needed a few rooms refreshed, we came in and did just that!

This project was a fun little one. I love getting to come into someone’s home and breathe life back into a space no matter how big or small it is.

That’s exactly what happened here with this bathroom, the house is roughly 100 years old and most of the trim work, doors, etc. is all original to the home. Preserving the character of the home is always the top priority in situations like this one. We gave the trim a good sanding and fixed a few problem areas with the door, after coating the trim and door, it was smooth sailing into getting the walls and ceiling painted, giving this room a fresh neutral face!

I had the absolute pleasure of finishing this basement remodel up for Manfredi Enterprises and the lovely family that lives in this home.

Originally the basement was completely unfinished when Manfredi Enterprises came in and waterproofed all of the cinder block before framing and sending in drywall crew to hang, tape and mud. Fast forward through the flooring, finish carpentry, etc. Vintage Hues LLC came in to prime and do what we do best.

Wow, what a transformation for this Children’s Learning Center!

I have to admit, at first I was sad to see the original murals of the childhood shows so many, including myself, grew up watching get covered up but kids have new characters they look up to now.

The new design adds a bold pop of color everywhere you turn and will be in style for many years to come!
