🌳🐝 We’re not only saving trees here at Cleveland Tree & Stump — we’re saving honey bees, too! 🐝🌳
One of the responsibilities we all share—not just those of us in the tree industry, but everyone—is doing our part to care for the environment around us. 🌎❤️
Honey bees are incredible pollinators and play such an important role in our ecosystem. While separating a firewood pile, we discovered a well-established honey bee hive humming away inside a walnut log!
Unfortunately, with fall already here and temperatures dropping more each week, simply separating the hive from the log would mean the bees likely wouldn’t survive. So instead, we’re giving them a helping hand! 🐝
We’re working with a local beekeeper who has been caring for honey bees for more than 20 years. We’re helping him load the entire log into his trailer so he can safely transport the bees back to his apiaries, where they can continue to thrive. 🍯🐝
We’re excited to see where this little colony’s journey takes them and can’t wait to give you an update on the bees soon!
At Cleveland Tree & Stump, we believe that taking care of our trees also means taking care of everything that depends on them. 🌳❤️🐝
Save a tree. Save the bees. Protect our environment. 🌎
🐝 DID YOU KNOW? Honey bees can visit thousands of flowers in a single day, collecting nectar and pollen while helping pollinate many of the plants and crops we depend on. 🌻🍎🌱
