🤩 Under, AND upper shelf lighting in this gorgeous butlers pantry! Notice the lack of outlets cluttering up this beautiful stone slab backsplash. Outlets are however still required by code which is why we installed sections of plug mold into recessed niches on the underside of the bottom shelf.

“Sorry, but Joe from Burn Down Your House Electric Inc. was cheaper!” … can’t even make this stuff up. This wire may seem insignificant to most, but it actually prevents the possibility of your water, or plumbing faucets/piping or both from ever becoming electrified. I have personally witnessed (at multiple locations) shower faucet handles, and water that had 120V going through them. The non-comical part about this is that can very easily kill someone who was innocently attempting to take a shower/bath. Please do your research, and ensure that whoever you hire to do your electrical, plumbing, or any form of contracting, is licensed, and certified for the task. Cheaper, isn’t always better. Generally, there’s a very good reason for the cheaper cost.

EV 🔋 charger, ready to go! 🔌
Lately we have been doing a lot of these. Unfortunately for customers buying these electric vehicles, the dealership will tell you that it’s possible to charge off a standard outlet… DON’T make this mistake and believe that to be true. Another customer of mine had been using a standard outlet to charge their 🚗, and a few short months later they called and asked if I could check out some of their outlets that smelt like something burning. The insulation had melted off the wires, and the outlets on that circuit were all melted. Aside from the safety issue, who the hell wants to wait 20+ hours for their brand new car to charge, to barley be able to commute to work. If you are going to buy an electric ⚡️ vehicle 🚗 , plan on having a suitable charger 🔌 installed!
