Backyard drainage and erosion solution. Water was entering crawlspace due to the steep grade towards the house. We created a boulder wall and French drain to slow and redistribute the problem water away from the house.

Cool backyard transformation and stone steps in colony woods, Chapel Hill. Backyard was very typical for this neighborhood, natural and neglected, but the new owners of the house have small children and wanted a place to play. We pulled out about 8 in of Old pine straw and leaves, grated the ground level underneath of it, added topsoil and sod as well as a privacy screen of chindo viburnums around the outer edge.
