We're currently seeking an experienced DESIGNER | FINISHES & INTERIORS to join our team in Chapel Hill!
We're looking for a designer who thrives on bringing the details of a home together while creating an organized, thoughtful, and enjoyable selections experience for our clients. This role is ideal for someone who loves working directly with clients, sourcing and curating materials, and collaborating closely with our design and build teams to carry a cohesive vision through construction.
We're looking for someone who brings:
- 3+ years of professional experience in residential design/build projects, with strong knowledge of finishes, materials, millwork, and interior details
-Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and construction documents
-Expertise in spatial planning and integrating all design elements to create cohesive, functional, and high-quality custom homes
-Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to anticipate design challenges, develop elegant solutions, and collaborate with clients and the project team to ensure cohesive, high-quality results
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal teams
-Proficiency with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, or equivalent
