Two baths, one home. We kept one soft and creamy and let the other go green, and we love how they play off each other. Both came out of a full home remodel, built with tile work and finish detail meant to last. They feel like part of the same house, but each room still gets to be its own.

Weeks & Mitchell is teaming up with Lost Our Home Pet Rescue for their 5th Annual Yes to Pets Donation Drive, September 1st through October 3rd. Pet food, cat litter, new toys, cleaning supplies, and laundry detergent are all needed, and every bit helps keep local families and their pets together.

Every finish in this kitchen was a decision, and we sweated all of them.

Take the tour: a waterfall quartz island you could stare at all day, a pro-grade Wolf range built for people who actually cook, custom cabinetry in that deep textured finish, and quartz that runs seamless from the counters right up the backsplash. This East Valley primary bath had good bones and a dated everything else. We gave it a backbone of black cabinetry, warmed it up with brushed brass on every fixture and pull, and carried soft grey marble across the counters, the tub surround, and the shower so the whole room reads as one piece. Warm wood floors keep it from feeling cold, a frameless glass shower and marble niche finish it off, and that gold light over the tub is the part everyone stops on.

Black, brass, marble, and wood, brought together with a lot of care. The kind of space you're happy to start and end the day in.

Hard to believe these are the same room.

Where there were bare studs and a concrete slab, there's now a great room built for how people actually live in Arizona. We wrapped the fireplace in a blackened steel feature wall, ran warm oak floors from edge to edge, and opened the entire back of the house with sliding glass doors that tuck away completely. Now the mountains are basically part of the living room.

This is what a full remodel looks like when it's done right, and it's why more Valley homeowners hand their biggest projects to Weeks & Mitchell.
