We recently completed a full roof restoration project in Tempe, Arizona, where the existing system showed significant wear, including widespread blisters and delamination in the previous coating and foam. To address these issues correctly and ensure long-term performance, our crew began by scarifying the top layer of foam and coating, removing all compromised material down to a solid, stable substrate. This step is critical—it eliminates trapped moisture, prevents future separation, and allows the new system to fully bond as intended.
Once the roof was properly prepared, we installed two layers of premium polyurethane roofing foam, providing enhanced insulation, improved R-value, and a seamless waterproof barrier across the entire surface. After the foam fully cured, we applied two coats of AC-100 white elastomeric coating, a high-quality reflective finish designed to reduce heat absorption, protect the foam from UV exposure, and extend the overall lifespan of the roofing system.
The end result is a clean, durable, energy-efficient roof that is fully restored and protected for years to come.
