Continuing on the cabin today. Finishing up rolling the first coat. This thing is starting to really come together.

The reason I’m rolling the siding instead of spraying it, is because I want to push the paint into the texture of the old shingle siding to make sure it covers well and protects the it like it’s intended too. Plus the Neighbor’s houses are very close and the last thing I would want is overspray on them.

I’ll show the full before and after at the end of the week.

Good weather calls for exterior painting. This is a preview of the green color going on this cabin. The color is Leafy Green from Valspar. I’m using PPG Pittsburgh Paints Acri-shield eggshell. What do you think of the color?

The cabin was washed down last week with TSP and had the weekend to dry. I’ll be doing all the windows and doors as well. This things is going to look really different.
