Your bathroom exhaust fan is one of the best mold-preventers you own, but only if it actually vents outside.

Plenty of older east side homes have fans that vent into the attic, or ones so clogged they barely move air.

Run yours and hold a square of toilet paper to it. If it does not hold, the fan is not doing its job. ๐Ÿฆ
