The ideal candidate will have familiarity with installing and/or programming access control hardware and associated hardware. If not, must have some background with installing, troubleshooting and providing preventative maintenance on some, or all, of the following: structure cabling (cat5e/6), security cameras (Axis/Hanwha), fiber optics (Corning/Bertek) and paging (Bogen/Atlas) in a commercial environment. Qualified candidates will have an adaptive personality, great customer service skills and a mechanical aptitude. We are seeking for quality team members that will grow with us as we gain presence in the Columbus area.

*Additional Details:*

* Receive service calls from CCI/Office Manager, include a brief description of equipment/system malfunctions upon completion.
* Responsible to contact customer representative and ascertain equipment/systems problems.
* Learn how to diagnose problems and perform service and repairs on access control systems and other related building system products at customer sites.
* Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications software/systems, programs, schematics and operational product manuals.
* Exhibit excellent customer service skills by consistently communicating with the staff and customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Be comfortable with heights up to 15' and able to lift 50lbs.
* Expect candidate to own all tools required to install access control hardware and/or structured cabling

Data closets can turn into a rats nest over time and become seemingly impossible to troubleshoot an issue. Here’s another clean up one of our techs did. Equipment upgrade, new patch cables, and new wire managers give this rack a new look and will make it much easier to troubleshoot.
