Another chimney ready for winter!

We removed the deteriorated chimney crown, made the necessary repairs, poured a new crown and installed new chimney caps to help protect it from the elements.

Now is the perfect time to get your chimney taken care of — before cold weather sets in. Small problems at the top of a chimney can turn into much bigger repairs after another winter of rain, snow and freeze/thaw cycles.

This Labor Day, we want to recognize the guys who make Horney’s Masonry what it is.

Masonry is hard work. It’s early mornings, long days, heavy lifting, hot summers, freezing mornings, and coming home tired just to get up and do it all again the next day.

We’re proud of the reputation we’ve built over the years, but we know we couldn’t have built it without the guys who show up every day and put in the work. Their craftsmanship, dedication, and pride in what they do are a huge part of why our customers continue to trust Horney’s Masonry.

Sometimes the walkway IS the landscaping. 👀

We used Cambridge Pavers to create this winding walkway with a custom circular design at the center. Instead of just getting you from one end of the yard to the other, the pavers became part of the backyard design itself.

And getting all those curves and cuts to come together just right? That’s the fun part. 🔨

Not every upgrade has to be a huge project to make a big difference.

This front entry went from one small, awkward step to a much more welcoming—and much more functional—entrance. We built out two full-width masonry steps, giving the porch a finished look that feels like it should have been there all along.
