This dead elm was hazardous and located right next to the house, with several large limbs already having broken out.

Due to the condition of the tree and the potential for weak or unstable hinge wood, we used a large rigging line as an added safety and completed a controlled fell away from the house.

Another tree taken out safely with Randy Wright! 🌳

Wednesday’s job this week!

The crew knocked it out of the park on these two massive pine removals — both over 40” in diameter. There was a lot of material in these two trees, with over 45 yards of chips and roughly 20,000 lbs. of log sections hauled off the property!

Jobs this size take a little more planning and coordination to keep everything moving safely and efficiently, and the guys did a great job from start to finish!

Big thanks to Jason with Muletown Stump Grinding for taking care of the two massive stumps, and Joe with Wolf Creek Land Company for helping us out by hauling a big load of logs!

Always appreciate having good people to work alongside and help keep a big job moving!

What’s the most expensive, but fun way to put up a rope after the job is done? Throwing it on the self-tailing winch!
(No this is not how we usually repack our ropes😂🤣 just having a bit of fun)

Technical Tree Removal!
This elm had a pretty severe lean over a fence and the neighbor’s pool, so there wasn’t much room for error.

Elm trees can be tricky because they grow long, straight limbs. This one had several branches pushing close to 40 feet out over the yard. It took a whole lot of coordinated rigging, precise cutting, and good communication to get this tree on the ground safely.

Every piece had to go exactly where we wanted it. Another good reminder that the right equipment, training, a solid plan, and teamwork make all the difference. 🌳💪

We had an awesome crew today with Wally and Randy Wright. It’s always a pleasure working with the best. Appreciate you guys!

One of the most satisfying sounds in tree work. 🌳🪵

Some Black Tupelo action!

One of nine oak trees safely removed today! This one had the majority of its canopy extending over the roof and screened porch, requiring careful rigging to safely remove the branches. Once the canopy was cleared, the main stem was safely felled.

Pleasure working with Randy Wright, Wally and Corbett!

After the storms cleared, we were able to tackle another poplar tree removal (which had a surprise hiding inside 👀), along with felling five additional trees for a client. Another busy day and another property made safer and cleaner!

A few clips from a heavily compromised poplar tree we took down this week! 🌳🪵

This tree was growing along the edge of a wood line, reaching hard for sunlight over the years. What started as a slight lean eventually turned into an extreme, nearly horizontal lean, with most of the canopy hanging directly over a shop building.

To safely remove it, we rigged down limbs and sections over the structure piece by piece. Once the weight was reduced, the remaining bowed stem was secured with a rope and redirect setup, anchored back into the woods, and safely pulled over to the side for a controlled finish.

These are the jobs where planning, rigging, and precision make all the difference. 🌲🪢
