School started today, so we took the morning to go to breakfast & review over the rest of the year. It was my first time at our local Swedish Inn AND look who was on the coffee cup - our favorite local electricrician - Mountain Man Electric, LLC ! We love our community & the friends we have made. I know we are at the end of summer, and the cusp of a new school year; however, this job smelled like Christmas! The boys worked their last tree job before the school year - 5 Red Pines - dropped & cleaned.

Check out this super hollow 22” Poplar drop. We were able to drop this one perfectly with a slight roll to avoid damaging the Oak next to it. This was completely hollow - all the way to the top!

Today we took down a 21” DBH Ash ( #85 ) Bruce & Jay were able to drop it
safely Into the street - and swiftly cleared it to keep the neighborhood traffic flowing.

Ash #84’s bark was falling off today. We had the full team working, so we were to take care of this Ash today in Hugo, after we took down a small Apple tree in Shafer.

We may be taking a vacation with our friends in Florida, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t working! Cass said we should look for a truck while we are here, Jay said OK, & found this gem. We have been looking for a vehicle to add to our little fleet for over a year, but weren’t finding anything that worked. We are super happy to bring this one home and get it ready to work! Also, leaving business cards in random places is entertaining. Thank you GP Motors Orlando.

We needed to bust out the 32” bar for this big Ash ( Ash #83 ) This customer needed us drop & limb the tree, while he wanted to move & keep all the material.

What do you get when you have 3 Crabapple trees + 1 Ash tree ( Ash #82 ) + a business parking lot?

Give up? You get Team Sweno working on a Saturday 😬

We were able to get these 4 trees down, chipped, the lot cleaned & went out for lunch all before 1PM today 👏

Sidenote, working on asphalt is less preferred to our usual grassy landscapes with a lakeside breeze. Thankful we were able to sneak in with zero vehicles in the lot & knock this one out 👊
