Nylon, polyester, and wool. They might all look like carpet, but they behave very differently once you start living on them.

The difference? How well they bounce back from everyday wear and tear.

And apparently, a milk jug is a perfectly reasonable way to explain that. 😂

Out in Centnnial lacing in and fully restoring this amazing and beautiful wide plank white oak floors! That medallion is such an eye catcher when you first walk in, Select Flooring was the only company amongst 3 other bids that were up to restore this thing! Everyone else wanted to rip it out which feels like a shame!

Have hardwood and thinking about changing the floors entirely? Old oil based finish coats always amber like this here in CO. I mean we’re 3 inches from the sun…our water borne clear coats prevent this from happening and give it an absolutely gorgeous finish when we strip away the old finish…maybe worth a re-visit before tearing it all out?

Not every floor needs replaced.

Sometimes it just needs restoration.

This red oak floor had plenty of life left. After sanding and refinishing, it looks completely renewed while preserving the character of the original hardwood.
