There’s a lot to be excited about as Tower Electric continues to grow, and one of those things is the people we’re adding to our team.

With more than 26 years in the electrical construction industry, Anthony brings a tremendous amount of experience to the table. He’s spent his career working through the challenges that come with complex projects, from budgeting and early design decisions to Design-Build and Design-Assist, and understands just how important a strong preconstruction process is to everything that follows.

What we’re especially excited about is Anthony’s approach to leadership. He believes in bringing people together, communicating openly, and building a team that works toward the same goal. That mindset fits right in with where Tower Electric is headed.

We’re excited to welcome Opie Culp to the Tower Electric team! 👏

After 27 years in the electrical industry, Opie has built the kind of career that comes with a lot of stories, a lot of lessons learned, and a whole lot of knowledge to share. His work has taken him across the country and around the world; from heavy commercial and industrial projects to supporting U.S. and Allied Nation military operations overseas. But what we love most about Opie’s story isn’t just where the electrical trade has taken him. It’s how much he genuinely cares about passing what he’s learned on to the next generation.

In Opie’s own words, “Electrician is my profession; teaching is my vocation.”

Even after nearly three decades in the trade, Opie still considers himself a student. He loves watching apprentices and young journeymen find their confidence, develop their skills, and become craftsmen who take pride in what they do.

That mindset means a lot to us at Tower. We want to be a place where people never stop learning, where experienced electricians take the time to teach, and where the next generation is given the opportunity to grow. Five Four Restaurant & Drafthouse in Lee’s Summit, MO is really starting to take shape. Week by week, the vision is becoming a reality, and it’s exciting to see just how far this project has come.

For nearly two years, our team has worked through 27 carefully planned phases inside UCHealth Anschutz, helping transform an existing loading dock into a new Sterile Processing Department while also completing electrical work for new elevators, patient care areas, staff spaces, pharmacy support, conference rooms, locker rooms, and eight new PACU bays.

We are incredibly grateful to Turner Construction Company for the opportunity to partner on such a meaningful project. Thank you for your trust, collaboration, and partnership throughout every phase of this journey. There is something especially meaningful about working on schools. Every classroom we light, every hallway we upgrade, and every space we help improve will soon be filled with students learning, growing, and discovering what's possible. Among those students are future electricians, project managers, engineers, business owners, and community leaders. It's a reminder that the work we do today helps create the environments where tomorrow's workforce is shaped.

Our team recently completed LED lighting retrofit projects across three Douglas County School District schools. A sincere thank you to Adolfson & Peterson Construction for the opportunity to partner on these projects. We truly value the trust you've placed in our team and appreciate the opportunity to help bring these important improvements to the district.

Some job sites come with a pretty incredible office view. 🏔️ 🌈

Our team is making great progress at Foote's Rest Town Center, a 114,000-square-foot mixed-use development in the heart of Frisco, Colorado. After a much-needed afternoon rainstorm, the mountains put on quite the show with a beautiful rainbow stretching across the skyline.

While the scenery is impressive, so is the work happening beneath it.

Our crew is currently installing the underground feeder and branch raceways that will serve as the backbone of the project's electrical infrastructure. It's a phase of construction that most people will never see once the building is complete, but it's one of the most critical parts of the entire project. With the final footers and foundation walls nearing completion, the project is preparing to go vertical, marking an exciting milestone for everyone involved.

A huge thank-you to our field team for continuing to deliver quality work while navigating a busy downtown jobsite, changing mountain weather, and the influx of summer visitors. Your commitment to safety, craftsmanship, and teamwork is what keeps projects like this moving forward.

Every project is an opportunity to learn something new, and we take pride in creating an environment where our experienced leaders mentor, teach, and invest in the next generation of electricians.

Caleb recently completed this panel make-up at our Glenmoor Country Club project, demonstrating the craftsmanship, attention to detail, and professionalism that come from a commitment to learning the trade the right way. Watching our team members build confidence and expand their skills is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

Yesterday, the Tower Electric team had the honor of attending the 15th Annual Ron Lance United Airlines Charity Open at Arrowhead Golf Course in support of The Gabby Krause Foundation. ⛳

The Gabby Krause Foundation is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children battling cancer and other long-term childhood illnesses through its incredible Bags of Fun program. Each backpack is thoughtfully filled with educational, interactive, and fun activities that give children a reason to smile and something to focus on beyond their illness.

We're proud to support organizations that make such a meaningful impact in our community. Thank you to our partners at Adolfson & Peterson Construction for spending the day on the course with us. It was a great opportunity to enjoy some friendly competition while supporting a cause that truly changes lives.
