This stunning bubbler water feature paired with Cactus, Yucca, and Agave proves that water features and Desertscape landscaping can work beautifully together!

At Carey Building Services, we're on a mission to restore degraded watersheds while helping homeowners and businesses create beautiful, sustainable outdoor spaces. Through our cactus and xeriscape plant installations and sales, you're helping conserve water, support healthy soil, promote biodiversity, and contribute to the restoration of the Rio Grande River watershed.

We're testing a new sandroponic growing system that we hope to eventually power with solar energy and deploy at scale in the desert. The vision is to efficiently start thousands of trees, native plants and cactus that can be transplanted alongside our nursery Xeriscape plants, trees, and cactus grown for Colorado landscapes.

Our model is simple: restore degraded land while creating a sustainable way to fund the work. Revenue from cactus sales helps cover costs as we rebuild healthy ecosystems. Once trees, grasses, and native vegetation are established and the land can continue maturing on its own, we can move on to the next property—expanding restoration efforts, repairing watersheds, and gradually bringing more of the landscape back to life.

One property at a time. One watershed at a time. 🌵🌱💧
