💰 Meet the Role: Finance & Human Resources Manager
At Armcorp Construction, Kirsten, our Finance & Human Resources Manager, helps manage the financial and employee-related responsibilities that keep things running behind the scenes. From cash flow and receivables to payroll, benefits, and onboarding, her role covers a little bit of everything on both the Finance and HR sides of the company.
A big part of the position is keeping a close eye on where things stand financially - what's coming in, what needs paid, and what needs followed up on - while also helping take care of the employees who make Armcorp what it is.
What Kirsten does at Armcorp:
• Monitors cash flow and daily bank activity
• Submits project pay applications
• Monitors A/R aging and follows up on slow payments
• Records and applies customer payments and deposits
• Processes weekly payroll
• Prepares job offers and oversees new employee orientation
• Manages employee benefits
• Maintains financial dashboards, reports, and company vehicle records
While finance and HR make up the core of the position, Kirsten also gets to take on some of the more creative sides of Armcorp - including social media, company events, and employee outings - which happen to be some of her favorite parts of the job! 😊
The Finance & HR Manager plays an important role in keeping Armcorp's finances organized and our employees supported. Most of the work happens behind the scenes, but it helps keep the company moving every day.
