Trying to give back to a Town that’s been good to me.
The City of Cedartown would like to give Ken Shelley Custom Building and AKB Pallets & Wood Products, LLC. a huge THANK YOU for attending our Play at Peek Contractor's Luncheon yesterday.
They were busy with their own business dealings, but they took an hour to sit down with us over a hot lunch to chat about the new playground project at Peek Park. In the photo, City Manager Edward Guzman (center) and Executive Assistant Brande Coggins, speaks to (clockwise) Ken Shelley, Terry Brand (Ken Shelly Custom Building) and David Birchfield (AKB Pallets & Wood Products) about volunteer opportunities during build week. Thank you, gentlemen, for your support. It is very much appreciated!
There are so many ways to become involved in the Peek Park playground build coming up March 20-24. If you are a contractor and would like to participate during build week, there are specific "Contractor Days" where we will welcome your knowledge and assistance.
We welcome volunteers with amazing skillsets like Mr. Shelley, Mr. Brand and Mr. Birchfield, and we also welcome those who aren't as savvy with saws, drills, and calculations. Enthusiasm and a genuine desire to make YOUR community better is all you need to be a part of this project.
If you would like to help in ANY fashion, we will work with you to find your perfect volunteer opportunity. You can sign up to help during build week at www.playatpeek.org or by emailing [email protected]
