A Scottish-themed home office in what used to be attic space? Absolutely! We can do that!

This space is going to completely transform over the next few weeks with integrated columns, wall paneling, wood tops, and beams, all made out of rift red oak. 😍 We’re also adding custom lighting to the beams, which is going to take this space to another level. 😃

It’s a unique project with a lot of character, and we can’t wait to share the progress as it comes together.

You’re looking at one of the BEST drywall repair artists in Southeastern Wisconsin.

Jess is an integral part of our team, and she makes this kind of detailed work look easy and seamless. On this window replacement project, we had drywall repairs around nearly every window. When a full replacement window lines up perfectly on the exterior, the interior opening will be about 1/2" smaller all the way around, which means careful interior finishing is just as important as the window installation itself.

Another project completed and another happy homeowner!

At Blue Harmony Homes, we handle just about everything for our clients—including garage door replacements.

For this project, we also upgraded the door stops to ensure a clean, professional finish and to eliminate the need for unnecessary touch-ups around the jambs. It's the little details that make a big difference.

These new completely transformed the look of the home, adding both curb appeal and long-term value. We think they turned out amazing!

There won’t be a bad view from this custom home we're building in Port Washington, WI!!

One question we often get is: *Why use steel beams in the lower level?*

While steel beams are incredibly strong, one of their biggest advantages is their ability to span longer distances than traditional wood beams. This gives us more flexibility in the design and can help create larger, more open living spaces.

We use both wood and steel beams depending on the home's structural requirements, lower-level layout, and the point loads that need to be supported. During the design phase of this home, we actually replaced a wood beam with a steel beam because the wood member would have been too deep and would have projected into the finished lower-level ceiling. By switching to steel, we maintained the structural integrity while maximizing usable living space.

Thoughtful design decisions like these are what help turn a good floor plan into a great one.
