Cedar Valley Steel is in search of a Project Manager.
The PM develops, coordinates, and manages all facets necessary to construct the project on time, within budget, and to the quality specified. The PM provides leadership and serves as the liaison between project team members to promote the interest of both the business and client in all matters. They are the primary leader for the construction project.
Job Responsibilities:
- Establish & perform job processes, including submitting pay applications, RFI's, submittals, & negotiating change orders
- Perform project scheduling; ensure project quality control & establish overall project logistics
- Manage the closeout process efficiently
- Collaborate with the project superintendent & site operations team throughout the life of the project
Qualifications:
- Experience in commercial construction
- Previous experience in a project management role with the ability to run multiple projects
- Proficient in reading construction drawings & updating construction project-related drawings
- Ability to organize necessary resources, including people, tools, & time to meet tight deadlines and achieve desired results
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, take initiative, & seek responsibility
- Demonstrate integrity with strong core values
- Seek continuous improvement of knowledge and abilities
- Approach all situations with a customer service oriented attitude
- Sustain existing client relationships & develop new client relationships
- Ability to multi-task effectively & manage time efficiently
- Possess excellent communication skills both written & oral
- Willingness to train others
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
