Nice little set up and pour this morning. Then went and mowed. Came back and stripped it. And of course forgot my chalk line and tape so I'll be cutting in the morning. Wall coming next!

Knocked another one out today! Taupe Kings Block was the choice for this one. Mower didn't like this area so homeowners wanted to make things a little easier for mower to get around while adding a new aesthetic to go with the rest of the flower beds. Topped with some quality cedar mulch from Palo nursery. That's a wrap! Thank you Mike and Sally Hessenius!

Here at Apex Lawn Care we pride ourselves in our attention to detail. And a big part of leaving our lawns looking so nice is what gets accomplished behind the scenes. Like regular maintenence on our machines so they are running at their peak performance!

Properly aired tires, clean filters, optimal fluid levels, a cleanly scraped and level deck, and a working striping kit all play into the finished product we leave behind. Time spent on regular maintenance ensures a professional and clean cut lawn and a well oiled machine running for years to come!

Luckily my helper was here to oversee everything!

Wrapped up another one today! We tore down the old and put up the new last January when we had that one week of 70° weather. Cabot Australian Timber Oil Honey Teak shade was the choice for this one! And I personally think it turned out great! Hope everyone has a fun and safe Memorial Day weekend!

Looking for part time summer help. 2-4 days a week. Can be 5-7 days a week when we are on projects other than mowing. Drivers license required. Having your own insurance is a big plus and will increase your pay rate but not necessary. I need people who aren't scared to work outside in the heat and sometimes we work 10-12 hours a day sometimes. If outside manual labor like mowing, trimming, concrete, retaining walls, soft and hard scapes, and construction is too much for you, this isn't the place for you. Last couple guys I tried last year lasted 1 week. Got paid, then never answered their phones again. This is NOT the kind of help I'm after. Can't be scared of some hard work, the heat, or hard manual labor. I have about 25 years in the trades of concrete and construction and have no problem training if you have no experience. Experience isn't needed. But if you can finish concrete, that will certainly improve pay as well. But you actually must be able to finish. Not just tell me you can in the interview and then seem lost on the first job. I've been through that song and dance before. Pay reflects attendance and effort. I need dedicated people that will show up when asked to. If it works out there are advancement opportunities, bonuses, and pay increases. But you'll need to earn it. A fair days work for fair pay.

That's a wrap on this project! Total renovation on an old limestone wall and flower beds! Pretty happy with how this one turned out!

Taupe kings block was a great choice for this setting and matching up with the house in the background. Flower beds torn out and replaced with some taupe bullet edgers, heavy w**d fabric, and some medium sized river rock! These beds are built for the long run with a fresh new look and low maintenance!

Finishing touches coming this weekend with aeration, overseeding, and peat moss to get the lawn back to 100% in no time at all.

Well this warm weather has us itching for Spring! Which means its time to get a jump on the Spring schedule! We have the first leg of Spring booked out but we have space to fill!

We specialize in many different services. I have 25 years experience in concrete and we do footings, walls, floors, and decorative texture finishes. As well as epoxy floor coatings.

We also handle various types of construction from pole barns, decks, commercial red iron, siding, roofing, soft and hard scapes, as well as retaining walls. No job is too big or too small!

But that's not all we offer! We are also looking to add to the mowing schedule again this year. We do both residential and commercial mowing. We also offer fertilizer and broadleaf w**d control packages. Along with general landscaping, seeding, sprinkler systems, aeration, also tile work and drainage systems.
