Low water pressure is one of those things that is easy to ignore until it is not. 🏠

In the middle of a full system changeout and here is something worth knowing. Every time Colony comes in for a system or furnace changeout we install a brand new filter rack as part of the job.

Most people do not know that is part of what we do and honestly that is fine. That is our job to know. A proper filter rack means a better fit, better filtration, and a system that is set up the right way from day one. Not just swapped out and sent on its way. The details are what separate a good install from a great one and Colony does not skip them. 💪

A see through wood burning fireplace is a beautiful thing. Until you are hauling in wood, waiting for the fire to die down before bed, and dealing with all the mess that comes with it. 🏠

Aaron Carpenter. Residential Plumbing. 5 years with Colony.

Ask Aaron what his favorite thing about Colony is and he will tell you it is the investment in employees to help them grow and achieve success. Colony does not just hire people and put them to work. There is a real effort to give people the tools, opportunities, and support they need to keep getting better. After five years with Colony, Aaron has been able to experience that firsthand. That willingness to keep learning and growing fits Aaron pretty well too. He is the kind of guy who is always working on something and looking for ways to improve, whether that is on the job or in his own time. Having people like that on the team is a big part of what makes Colony what it is.

Outside of work, Aaron stays plenty busy. You can find him reading, writing books, working with leather, or spending time outdoors. Safe to say if there is a skill worth learning or a new project to take on, Aaron is probably already working on it. 💪

Safety and style upgrade all in one.

This master bedroom fireplace went from a ventless gas unit, which is not up to code and can pose serious safety risks including carbon monoxide concerns, to a sealed direct vent solution. We removed the old unit and installed a new Regency P36 direct vent gas fireplace to ensure proper ventilation and peace of mind.

PJ completed the transformation with beautiful new tile work to finish the space. A safer home and a stunning focal point done right.

Cole Silver. Remodel Reconstruction HVAC. 4 years with Colony.

Ask Cole what he loves most about Colony and he keeps it simple. Everyone here treats you like family. Four years in and that is still the first thing that comes to mind. That is not something you find everywhere, and it is a big part of what makes Colony the kind of place people enjoy coming to work every day.

Having good people around you makes a difference.
