I will be back in a week if you had any damage. Just call and leave a voicemail. I’ll get back to you. I’m going to spend the next week celebrating both kids now heading to big girl school.

I’m in Florida with the family for a week. I would suggest if you had any significant damage to call your insurance provider.

If you have a contractor offering to cover your deductible that is insurance fraud by the contractor. Don’t allow it. Sounds great but that also shows the type of person you may be dealing with.

Today we took care of Joan in Waterloo. Joan’s roof was old and was in the line of a hail storm. I had reached out to a State Farm agent Waterloo to ask if I could help any of their customers out. Joan was a reference.

Joan reminds me a lot of my mom. Health issues and has to get help to walk much more than a few feet. She Struggles to walk just like my mom. She Falls just like my mom. Kind. Honest. Everything reminded me of my mom. And I was determined to get her a new roof. Well State Farm came through and claimed damage.

Took two months to make it all happen but Joan is now covered. 100% product and labor for the next 15yrs. She doesn’t have to worry how she is going to pay for a new roof now.

We're closing in on finishing Bever Ave. Been a slow process. 18 windows to rewrap, 3 layer tear off, new wood trim around those 18 windows with metal and working around Kevin getting some misc add ons needed done.

I will say the color scheme is looking good and lots of neighbors have drove by and told us we are doing a great job and they love the transformation. That most definitely makes you feel like you are doing it the right way and chasing the dreams of the homeowner for their house and neighborhood curb appeal

Shutting it down for the weekend here.

Jeremy at Haven Enterprises, LLC has done a bang up job here. New patio door. Widen garage door. Should have overhang done over garage Monday and he’s setting a new front door as well for Kevin and Brandon. He’s a great partner in this project.

We have removed all but one side of siding. Kevin wants to do certain things in certain areas so we work around what he has going and leave areas. This week was a productive week. We started installing some new fascia and soffit. Installed new 1x around the windows to hold new metal trims. Hopefully by Friday we are wrapping up.

Looking forward to progress picture when job is done. We’re getting to the point of spoiling his reveal on the house remodel

Finally getting a small start on Bever Ave house.

Have to do a few things a little differently vs all at once.

A patio door by Haven Enterprises, LLC get built out tomorrow, then we are removing current overhang and extending the roof to overhang straight across with lighting above garage door and expanding the garage door from a 8x7 to a 10x8 so we needed to get a few sides removed so the concrete cutters can come in and we’re ready for them on Thursday. Jeremy is covering all of that. We’re just working together.

We will start removing the rest of the siding, soffit, and fascia tomorrow. Hopefully we will have all the windows wrapped and siding completed mid to end of next week.

With a lot of moving parts the job is going to be a little slower but boy oh boy I can not wait to see what it turns up as when we are done.

I have been excited to say the least to start the finalized portion of 3121 Bever Ave exterior house remodel. Unfortunately, I will be starting in the next day or two with severe weather outlook. The transformation this house will have I hope shows the capabilities of what you can do with your home.

No reason to rush a start if the home isn't leaking. This weather could be dangerous and why put a homeowner through unwarranted risk? Why? So, you can make a little money? Nah. Let's not worry about the money and worry about the process and the future. One bad decision today and change the outlook forever.

The truck is looking sharp! New decals this week thanks to my cousin at MediaQuest signs.

I left room for when I add windows to the arsenal of offerings.
