The majority of the asphalt we install is produced in-house, so we control the source of the materials. This ensures quality control during the manufacturing process, and we can deliver the best product to the end user. Texas Materials distinguishes its plants from other suppliers by providing a more consistent product and a dependable, experienced staff. New and updated plants and the impeccable caliber of materials available to Texas Materials also set us apart. Texas Materials oversees 7 Central Texas locations - each with its own in-house Quality Control Engineer - that are capable of meeting any job, from the most stringent TxDOT specified mix to a common cold mix for patching. Our East Texas Area employees stepped up to help local students and teachers get ready for a successful school year!

Through a recent school supply drive, donations were delivered to Wells ISD and Tenaha ISD, providing essential classroom supplies and supporting education in our communities.

Since joining Texas Materials in 2015, Esteban has demonstrated an exceptional work ethic, strong sense of accountability, and dedication to his team. Starting as a Plant Ground Hand, he quickly learned the operations role and has continued to grow and take ownership of his work.

Esteban consistently goes above and beyond to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. His reliability, positive attitude, and willingness to support his coworkers make him a valued member of our team.

Safety is a team effort and it starts with being present in the field.

Our Regional Safety Director stopped by our HMA crew in Rockwall to check in, connect with the team, and discuss potential hazards on the jobsite. These conversations help keep safety top of mind and ensure everyone has what they need to make it home safely at the end of the day.

We appreciate our crews and leaders who continue to look out for one another and make safety part of every shift.

At Texas Materials, eye safety is non-negotiable.

Every shift brings real risks, from dust and debris to sparks and UV exposure. And a quick squint is not protection. Wear ANSI-rated eye protection with side shields. Inspect it before every use and replace it when it is damaged.

You only get one set of eyes. Protect them every task, every shift, every time.
