Safety is a team effort and it starts with being present in the field.

Our Regional Safety Director stopped by our HMA crew in Rockwall to check in, connect with the team, and discuss potential hazards on the jobsite. These conversations help keep safety top of mind and ensure everyone has what they need to make it home safely at the end of the day.

We appreciate our crews and leaders who continue to look out for one another and make safety part of every shift.

At Texas Materials, eye safety is non-negotiable.

Every shift brings real risks, from dust and debris to sparks and UV exposure. And a quick squint is not protection. Wear ANSI-rated eye protection with side shields. Inspect it before every use and replace it when it is damaged.

You only get one set of eyes. Protect them every task, every shift, every time.

Gloves do not protect against everything. Heat, chemicals, and sharp edges all have limits. Use the right glove for the job and inspect it every time. No gloves means no protection.
