From vision to reality! 🏡✨

There's nothing quite like seeing a project come together. What starts as a plan and a whole lot of hard work becomes something our clients can enjoy for years to come.

At Tried & True Construction, we take pride in every stage of the building process, from the ground up to the finishing touches.

Because the best transformations aren't just about the before and after. They're about everything that goes into making it happen. 🔨

A beautiful home starts long before the first wall goes up. 🏡

It starts with experience, careful planning, honest communication, and a builder who understands just how much is riding on every decision.

With over 25 years of hands-on construction experience, Brian Johnson brings the knowledge and attention to detail that Southern Utah homeowners deserve.

From the first conversation to the finishing touches, we're committed to making the building experience just as rewarding as the finished home.

Building in Southern Utah? Let's talk about your plans.

Community matters.

Brian is a proud member of BNI Synergy and holds a construction seat, and for him, networking is about a whole lot more than passing business cards around a room.

It’s about building real relationships with other local business owners, staying involved, supporting one another, and creating a network of people you feel confident referring to your own clients, friends, and family.

Construction has always been a relationship business, and being connected to the community makes all of us better at what we do.

Because good business is built a lot like a good home: on a solid foundation. 😉

Tried & True does more than build homes.

We also take on small commercial projects for local businesses that need a builder who understands function, budget, and getting the job done right.

From shops and office spaces to tenant improvements and other small commercial builds, we bring the same straightforward communication and hands-on approach we’re known for in residential construction.

Have a commercial project in mind? Let’s talk about it.

Concrete is in, walls are going up, lumber is stacked, and suddenly you can walk through spaces that used to exist only on a set of plans.

This is one of our favorite stages of a build. It’s still dirt, sawdust, ladders and a whole lot of work, but you can finally start to see the house taking shape.

Give us a few more months. 😏

From framing to finished spaces.

Before and afters are always a favorite because they show just how much comes together between the first stages of a build and the final details.

The entry, kitchen, bathrooms, and every space in between all start with the same thing: a vision, a plan, and a lot of work behind the scenes.

Seeing it all come together into a finished home is the best part.

To Brian, custom doesn’t have to mean starting from a blank sheet of paper.

If a home is presold, he still believes it should feel like your home.

That means looking at the plan, the finishes, the details and the way you actually live and tailoring what can be tailored to fit you instead of forcing you into someone else’s choices.

Because if you’re buying before it’s finished, you should have a voice in what you’re coming home to.

Have a lot? A plan? A presold home you’re considering? Or just an idea you’re not sure how to pull together?

Call Brian. Let’s sit down, talk through it, and see what’s possible before someone else makes all the decisions for you.

We LOVE how this fireplace remodel turned out. 🔥

From opening up the wall and rebuilding the entire fireplace surround to new stone, built-ins, shelving and lighting, this space got a serious upgrade.

The before-and-after says it all. Same room. Completely different feel.

And yes, Tried & True does remodels too. 😉

You don’t need to have it all figured out before you call Brian.

Maybe you already own the lot.
Maybe you have plans ready to go.
Maybe you have an idea in your head and a Pinterest board full of inspiration.
Or maybe you’ve got a pencil, a napkin and a rough sketch of what you think could work.

That’s enough to start.

Sit down with Brian, talk through what you’re envisioning, ask the questions, look at the possibilities and figure out what the next step actually is.

Big custom home, addition, shop, remodel or something you’re still trying to put into words, let’s get together and talk about it.
