It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved founder and president, Wendell Hicks.

Wendell was far more than the driving force behind Trees Unlimited — he was a devoted husband, father, friend, and mentor to so many. What began as his dream grew into a company rooted in integrity, hard work, and genuine care for people. His vision and passion shaped not only Trees Unlimited, but also the many lives he touched along the way.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort knowing that Wendell is rejoicing in Heaven. His legacy will continue to guide us. His son, Sawyer Hicks, will step into the role of President, carrying forward his father’s mission and values.

We are deeply grateful to our customers, friends, and community for your outpouring of love and support during this time. Wendell’s spirit will always remain at the heart of Trees Unlimited.
