A challenging backyard doesn’t have to limit the design—it can become the reason the space is exceptional.
This property’s significant elevation changes gave us the opportunity to create multiple levels of outdoor living, each with its own purpose while still feeling like part of one cohesive design.
The pool and expansive stone patio create a private place to swim and relax. Just steps away, an under-deck drainage system transforms the area below the deck into a comfortable covered living space. Above, the elevated deck provides room for dining, entertaining and cooking, complete with an integrated outdoor kitchen and cable railing that preserves the view.
Every transition, material and elevation was carefully considered to make the entire backyard feel intentional—not like a collection of separate additions.
The result is more than a pool, deck and patio. It’s a complete outdoor living environment designed around the home, the property and the way this family wants to live.
