Did you know that some plants have adapted to be hail resistant? Some can relax their leaves so hail rolls down instead of tearing through the plant, others have thick layers that absorb impact, and still others are just small enough that hailstones will slip past the plant without extensively damaging it. Cool stuff!

Our annual plants have been loving this recent rain! We are still under water restrictions, but with the moisture softening up the ground, it’s a great time to convert your yard to xeriscape and water-wise plants. Curious what that might look like? Give us a call to schedule an estimate! 720.326.9755

We're keeping our eyes on the cold front approaching this weekend! Make sure you have any cold weather prep done before Thursday night:
– If you've already activated your sprinklers, be sure to drain the backflow to try and avoid any frozen pipes between now and Sunday.
– Cover plants with sensitive new growth.
– All plants do better with water prior to a hard freeze, so be sure to give your landscaping a good drink on Thursday!
