Today's storms brought reports of quarter- to golf-ball-sized hail across parts of Denver, Edgewater, east Denver, northwest Denver, and areas near Chatfield Reservoir.

Hail of this size can cause damage to roofing systems, gutters, siding, window screens, vents, soft metals, solar panels, and more.

Not all storm damage is visible from the ground, and many roofs that have damage still look normal from the street.

3 Ways Your Roof Usually Starts Leaking (Most Homeowners Don’t Realize #2)

Roof Damage Inspection: From a Hard NO to Yes!

A homeowner let us inspect his roof after he repeatedly told us no. We explained why it would be important to have it looked at. The homeowner continued to tell us his roof was fine, and I agreed. It did look fine from the ground.

We discovered significant damage he wasn’t aware of, and we even had him go on the roof to inspect it, including hail damage and other issues.

We explain how this inspection actually helps him by preparing him with strategies and tips before a home inspector or potential buyer discovers the problems. By being proactive rather than defensive, he could potentially save thousands of dollars on his home’s equity.
