We are opening up the annual nominations for local SCV Single Moms who might need home repair services for the holidays. We know that wrapping presents and toys is fun and sparkly... We like to focus on home repair services that single moms can never handle.
Heter Family Woodworking is seeking to nominate local Santa Clarita single mothers or widows in need of home repair or maintenance services. This need-based program is designed to assist those facing challenges in maintaining their homes.
Examples of past projects:
* Roof repairs
* Car brake replacement
* Installation of window air conditioning units
* Shelf hanging / Move Heavy Boxes
* Electrical repairs
* Stair / Entrance repairs
We have limited funds but have a team of willing and ready local residents who will partner with licensed and reputable contractors to help the local moms.
Note: While we recognize the needs of single fathers raising children alone, this program is currently focused on supporting single mothers and widows.
