After spending nearly a week at the indoor air symposium in Virginia, I am back. Learned about a few state programs that have implemented in the federal level for indoor air quality. I’m digging farther into this and hopefully will have more info later. I’ve noticed in the last 6 years of business, that federal programs that are already funded seem to disappear into the depths of politics.
On a positive note Ben and his crew have been hard at work while I was gone and the shop is nearly complete. Time to get the sparky in there to illuminate it with his infinite wisdom. Ha!

Trusses are on and the eaves are framed.
Thought I would include some advertising for Ben in the pictures. He isn’t getting enough credit for his work.
On the flip side, Ben now owes me 95000 dollars for 24 seconds of advertising. I think that’s the going rate. Hahaha

I’m still trying to layout how the shop is going to be. I’ve spent nearly 7 years crammed in a space 24 feet wide.

That attic is NOT friendly. I would say that I feel bad for the spectrum guy that he has to install new coaxial when the service gets transferred, but I would be lying. lol. And thou shall not tell a lie. lol

Wyoming Flooring made the floor indestructible!
Now I’m just waiting on the electrician to finish the lights and that darn HVAC and plumbing guy to finish the AC and hot water.

Thought I would initiate my new office with my zero gravity chair. Ha!

Got another one done today! I think I’m getting too old for this. Ha! I installed the original Carrier equipment when this house was built in 2005 right after I passed my journeyman test. At the time, it was state of the art with a 2 stage 14 seer condenser package with a zoning system on electric air handlers and in floor radiant heat all communicating on the same group of thermostats. Last year I replaced all the thermostats because the updated operating program no longer supported the original thermostats. It seemed so long ago, and here I am replacing the very equipment I installed with the new modern 2 stage 17 seer condenser packaged with new electric air handlers.
I don’t remember them being so heavy!! I guess my old mentor was right…..He always said someday they will be heavy to me too!
