Today Mike and Jay installed an indoor pool dehumidification system by Quest. This thing is a dehumidification monster capable of 225 pints per a day. That's over 33 gallons of water pulled right from thin air!

We paired it with a AprilAire 8840 thermostat that can control the customers fresh air intake, furnace and new dehumidifier. Everything can now be controlled anywhere with an easy to use app.

The installation went great, but somewhere along the way Mike got promoted to Head Flex Guy. Apparently, the official uniform includes wearing flex ductwork as a helmet.

The system is running perfectly. Mike, however, may now be receiving signals from pools within a 50-mile radius. 😂

Zeke and Jay had themselves a fun morning installing a new 3-phase electrical panel!

What you're looking at in these photos is approximately 300 combined feet of 3/0 wire, weighing in at around 180 pounds. Add the neutral and ground wire, and we're up to roughly 212 pounds of wire.

That's a lot of copper! 💰⚡

Good thing nobody asked us to carry it all at once... although we're pretty sure Zeke would've tried. 💪😆

One of the worst bipartisan bills to hit the HVAC industry may finally be getting recalled/cancelled — and homeowners everywhere are collectively lowering their thermostats in celebration.

The AIM Act was signed in 2020 with the promise of reducing global emissions. In reality? It mostly gave us:
• higher equipment costs
• expensive new refrigerants
• service headaches
• “surprise!” flammable refrigerants

We still don’t know exactly what this means for future equipment and refrigerant pricing, but it’s a solid first step toward undoing some of the damage from a bill that made HVAC harder and more expensive for everybody involved.

For once, maybe the hottest thing this summer won’t be the repair invoice. 🔥❄️
