Nature wasn’t designed to have monocultures. To have a uniform lawn with just one species, let’s say Bermuda or Fescue, literally goes against nature.
Lawns are basically useless. They don’t provide food or habitat. Granted, lawns are nice to look at and walk on.
But because lawns are what homeowners want, the chemical companies came up with products to make monocultures possible. Those products just happened kill everything else in their path to achieve a pristine, w**d-free lawn on a depleted soil.
Homeowners apply 10x more chemical pesticides on lawns compared to farmers on cropland. Turf grass is the largest irrigated “crop” in the U.S.
We’re not saying you should give up your lawn, but we do take a different approach to maintaining it. Our w**d control ingredients are citric acid, soybean oil and soap. Not glyphosate, 2,4-D, dicamba, atrazine and other 💩 YOU DO NOT WANT AROUND YOUR KIDS OR PETS. End rant.
