I am deeply humbled and genuinely touched to share that I was recently featured in VoyageRaleigh Magazine and I want to take a moment to share what this recognition means to me.

When the team at VoyageRaleigh reached out I was not sure I had a story worth telling. I am a designer and a contractor who loves her work and cares deeply about her clients. That felt ordinary to me.

But sitting down and reflecting on the journey, from studying Interior Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, to earning my NASCLA General Contractor's license, to spending over a decade learning every aspect of this business before purchasing it in April 2024 , I realized that the story is not about any single milestone. It is about the belief that drove every decision along the way. That beautiful spaces should also be functional ones. That great design is only half the work. That the people who trust you with their home deserve someone who shows up completely for every detail, every challenge, and every moment between the first consultation and the final walkthrough.

The article also gave me the opportunity to speak honestly about what it has been like to be a woman building credibility in an industry that is still largely male dominated, what it really means to carry the responsibility of a team and a business, and why none of the awards or recognition matter as much as the moment a client tells me their finished space changed how they feel about coming home every single day.

That is what continues to inspire me. Every single project.
