What a project! We thoroughly enjoyed working with this homeowner and bringing our part of this one-of-a-kind barndominium to life.

Our crew took care of the framing, roofing, siding, and exterior finishes, and the details on this build speak for themselves. A huge thank you to our crew for the craftsmanship and hard work they put into every piece of it!

Our work here may be finished, but we’re already hoping for an invite back once the entire home is complete. We can’t wait to see the final result!

BEHIND THE BUILD | Pre-Construction

There’s a whole lot that needs to happen before any hammers start swinging!

At NGC, we break pre-construction down into 5 phases:

1️⃣ DEFINE
What are we building and why? We start by understanding your goals, how the space needs to function, must-have features, budget, timeline, and site requirements.

2️⃣ DESIGN
Now we start putting those ideas on paper. Plans, layouts, elevations, engineering, selections, and coordination with designers and other professionals all help turn the vision into an actual project.

3️⃣ VALIDATE
Does the design work with the budget — and can it actually be built as planned? We gather pricing, review constructability, identify potential concerns, and make adjustments while there’s still time to do so efficiently.

4️⃣ FINALIZE
Time to button up the details! We work toward final plans, scope, selections, trade pricing, scheduling, permitting, and construction pricing so everyone understands what is being built before construction begins.

5️⃣ BUILD
Once pre-construction is complete and a construction agreement is in place, it’s finally time to bring all that planning to life!

Good construction starts long before the crew arrives on site. Taking the time to Define, Design, Validate, and Finalize helps set the project up for a smoother Build.

Did someone say new shop?!

We’re excited to be partnering with Rusch Creek Services on their new shop build!

This commercial space is being built around their needs, and it’s going to be pretty neat watching this one come together.

So far, we’ve got the foundation complete, utilities in, and walls starting to go up! We can’t wait to keep sharing the progress — stay tuned for more updates from this build!

Once a month, the entire NGC team gets together for our company-wide meeting — and lucky us, today was that day!

It’s something we look forward to each month — a chance to share company updates, enjoy breakfast, and catch up with everyone while we’re all in the same room.

Most days, our team is spread out across different jobsites and projects, so it’s always nice to have one morning a month to get everyone together.

Good food, good conversation, and the whole crew in one place — not a bad way to start the day!

This season, New Generation Construction was honored to sponsor our very own Aaron Simons as he made his racing debut at Arlington Raceway — and we could not be more proud of everything he accomplished!

Aaron finished 2nd in points for the entire season, an incredible achievement that speaks to his dedication, hard work, and passion for racing.
