When people ask where are the plows, this is what our community workers are facing today on the South Shore. DPW workers, First Responders and commercial drivers are incredible. They are exhausted, though. Thank you so much to our incredible crew members. You are total rock stars!!!

We never thought we would see the day when we toppled the Blizzard of '78 off of it's Gold Medal spot on the podium, but here we are. Roads in Plymouth County were unpassable today. Ground Effects crews pulled 3 stuck ambulances out of the snow before condiditons became unsafe in many areas. Travel bans are in place for our service area and many communities on the South Shore are calling in National Guard support. The Town of Plymouth has had to suspend all emergency services due to conditions.

Please know that we WILL get to you. Our crews are amazing and are working around the clock in conjunction with your communities. It is going to take time. Mother Nature remains in charge! Stay safe, stay home, and SPRING IS COMING!
