Mighty blue earned its keep! Carson Underground I think it needs some more paint don’t you??

Started teaming at 7:50AM, had some really hard spots with rock and shale. The torque was high for a portion of it like Mike thought it would be. Reamed back to the drill at 9:20 AM. Everything looked good so back down hole the reamer went to pull pipe. At 9:45 AM the reamer was in position, cleaned, and ready to pull. Pull back started at 9:50 AM and ended at 10:35 AM. The 8” water main came back clean and smooth.

Tualatin Valley Plumbing caught Austin McDaniel drilling in some really rocky conditions up in NE Portland. Where there’s a challenge we try and find the solution. This drill job took 3 attempts but in the end we found the solution!
