Dusk settles in, the windows glow, and nobody has to raise their voice — the kitchen, breakfast room, and family room are all one connected space.

That's Oak Mountain Cottage: 1,984 sq ft, 3 bed, 2 bath, with daily life all on the main level. The vaulted family room sits in the middle, the master suite gets its own side, two bedrooms get theirs, and a bonus room upstairs waits for an office, playroom, or guests.

Everything you live in sits on one level: kitchen, dining, and great room down the center, master suite on one end, bedrooms on the other. The 3-car garage connects by a breezeway, so you get the storage without garage doors slamming against your walls.

Forever Farmhouse was drawn for the way country evenings actually go — the grill smoking on the patio, somebody swinging on the porch, the screened porch door banging soft in the breeze, and every light still on at nine o'clock because nobody's ready to call it a night.
