Well, this is becoming a tradition we’re pretty proud of. 🎉

Abstract has been named one of the Dallas Business Journal’s Best Places to Work in North Texas for the fourth year in a row!

On October 8, we’ll find out exactly where we ranked. After three years in the top three, we’d be lying if we said we weren’t hoping to keep that streak alive.

Of course, rankings don’t make a workplace special…people do. This recognition belongs to our incredible A-Team, whose hard work, care, humor, and personality make Abstract so special!

After 36 years with Abstract Construction, Dan Rhodes officially retired this month.

Dan joined Abstract in 1990 and spent many years as a superintendent before becoming our Quality and Safety Manager. He was known for his attention to detail, his high standards, and his belief that the little things mattered.

You could often find Dan sweeping a jobsite. Partly because a clean jobsite matters, but also because it gave him the chance to walk every inch of the space, observe the work, and catch issues before they became bigger problems. That was Dan. Always paying attention. Always doing things the right way.

He has been an integral part of Abstract for more than three decades and will be greatly missed.

Happy retirement, Dan. You have more than earned it. ❤️

From open floor to high-end law firm office.

We recently completed Spencer Fane’s 22,622-square-foot build-out inside Dallas Arts Tower, bringing together the precision, coordination, and finish quality these spaces demand.

Law firm interiors do not leave much room for “good enough.” Every transition, detail, and finish has to come together cleanly.

Proud of our team and grateful to Fortis Property Group for trusting Abstract with the transformation.

Our team spent yesterday afternoon with a great group of people over at JLL.

They started with a shell space walk-through, then shifted straight into Cinco de Mayo mode.

Always good getting everyone together outside of the usual day-to-day and catching up.

A packed room, a 90s theme, and a cause worth showing up for.

Brooke and Christie attended the inaugural Bingo for Bravery benefiting the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center, thanks to Melanie, who helped bring the night to life.

Our table committed to the theme and was officially crowned the "Jumpsuit Mafia." If there were a costume contest, we would've had a strong case.

No bingo wins for us, but that's not what the night was about. It was a room full of people showing up, having fun, and supporting something that truly matters.

Proud to be part of a night that supports children and families in our community!

Wow, what a day! Our annual crawfish boil is one of our favorite traditions because it brings together the trade partners and friends who help make every project possible.

We went bigger this year, and honestly, that's the only way to do it. Lots of food and a lot of time spent with people we genuinely enjoy working with.

That's really what it's about. The best relationships are built in moments like this, which is why this event is one of our favorites every year.
